Born and raised in Uruguay, handbag designer Victor Hugo’s passion for fashion and all things beautiful began at an early age. As a young man in the 1970s, Victor had dreams of building a business based on creating works of art. Inspired by a desire to explore the world, he lived all over Europe and eventually moved to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. There, he concentrated on craftsmanship; first creating jewelry until he ultimately found himself focusing on handbag design.
