TROSMAN
Argentinian born Jessica Trosman first debuted her eponymous label in 2002. Although her clothing is sold around the world, Trosman works out of Buenos Aires – her main source of inspiration. A self-professed lover of National Geographic Magazine, she draws on an eclectic palette of influences ranging from Charles Eames and Frank Lloyd Wright, to astronaut suits, insect anatomy, and rollercoaster structures. Her collections never follow a conscious theme, but are rather guided along a natural path suggested by the fabrics themselves, and the decisions and experiences resulting from their behaviour. The end result is an aesthetic that is both spontaneous and exact, effortless and precise.
