MARVIELAB

A student of the arts, philosophy, design and costume – Perugian born Mariavittoria Sargentini borrows from her education, and from her experience working with Maurizio Altieri on his Linea project, to fuel her very own MarvieLab line of clothing. Mariavittoria's research lab projects are the result of a study in form and functionality, the fruit of which are born of the exploration and experimentation of deconstruction and reorganization of classic clothing items. She attracted the attention of the press and public alike after debuting her first project, titled S+M+L, at the Pitti Rooms in 2007. Since then, Mariavittoria has explored a variety of concepts under different project headings, including j² , Coating , T-shirt , and the eco-sustainable C.L.A.S.S. project – the fruits of which can be appreciated and accumulated by collectors through the MarvieLab brand.
